Not so long ago I asked for tips for an authentic Chinese restaurant in Salzburg, a week later I stumbled upon this brand new restaurant close to my house and decided to give it a try, and let me tell you: it was destiny.

I am usually a bit skeptical of Asian places that do all Asian food, you know: Japanese, Chinese, Thai, etc... So, needless to say, looking at the menu I had very low expectations ( I didn’t even take photos), they have a huge menu with a lot of options, I recognized they were speaking Chinese behind the kitchen so I decided to try the Chinese menu and yeah, I was in for a surprise: this food is about as authentic as it gets in Europe, I had the Chinese cabbage with Sechuan peppers, and I am very aware that they probably did a European spice level specially for me, but it was delicious!

A few months have passed, and by now, I have probably gone through their whole menu and, I keep getting impressed. Let me warn you though: this is not the place to go if you are looking for a romantic experience or fancy sushi. The restaurant is modestly set, with only a couple of tables, but from sushi to kimchi, the taste is pretty consistent, and the portions are huge! Combined with the great price and extremely friendly staff this has quickly become one of my go-to places when I want a fast and soul-warming meal.

And you know a place is good when you see the whole staff sitting together in front of one huge meal at the end of the evening.

Give it a try and let me know what you think, you will probably see me there!
