Cocoon Hotel Taco Bar

We were invited to try the new Taco-Bar last week and since tacos and bars are some of my favorite words in life, I couldn't wait to figure out what happens when you combine them.

Turns out the result was as fun as it sounds. In my old hood, the Cocoon Hotel Bar is located close to the train station and this hotel bar is not only beautifully decorated, but it also has an extensive cocktail and even a winter drinks menu. So even if you are crazy enough to not like tacos (is that even possible ?!) this is a fun place to come with a group of friends to try different drinks. We personally suggest the Austrian mule as a solid starter.

Now let's get to the taco bar: The way it works is you get a small menu with different options and you can mix and match your tacos, tortillas and nachos as you prefer. In just four quick steps you choose the basics, fillings, source and extras to create your personalized food. Simple, fun and tasty! If you are unsure or overwhelmed by the options you can always as the staff to mix them for you ;) And if tacos or tortillas are not enough you can have Tiramisu or various cakes as dessert.

Cocoon Bar is a great place to visit as a group, it is the kind of place where you can order the whole menu and mix + match, with a side of cocktails. Perfect for a happy hour or an afternoon coffee and cake. The Taco Bar is open from Monday to Saturday, but you can get coffee and cake at the reception anytime between 06:00 and 01:00 (yes, both AM). It is totally worth a visit!
