Casa Napoli

21.08.2024

The menu offers a wonderful selection of pasta, pizza, antipasti, and desserts. It strikes the perfect balance between traditional Neapolitan dishes and beloved Italian classics like panna cotta.

Pietro was one of the first people I met when I moved to Salzburg. I was sitting at an Italian restaurant where he used to work, and I’ll never forget the moment when the table next to us moved their chairs out of the designated area—Pietro pulled a red card on them. To this day, I’m not sure if it was a joke, but that’s what I love about Pietro. He isn’t always overtly friendly, but he’s genuinely a nice person—and yes, those can be different things. A few years later, his brother Bruno joined him, and I found myself dropping by just to chat with them. Even when the food wasn’t my favorite anymore, if they were there, I’d stay for a meal. So, you can imagine my excitement when I heard they opened their own place.

Let me tell you this: I don’t just come to Casa Napoli to talk to them anymore—this place serves fantastic food! The menu offers a wonderful selection of pasta, pizza, antipasti, and desserts. It strikes the perfect balance between traditional Neapolitan dishes and beloved Italian classics like panna cotta.

And while the food is exceptional, what makes Casa Napoli truly special is that many people still come for Pietro and Bruno. No matter how busy or stressful the night gets, they make time to talk to every one of their regulars—on most nights, that means every table. They’ll do their best to accommodate you, but don’t be surprised if they tell you they need your table back because you’ve stayed too long! You’ll fall in love with the food, but you’ll also find a soft spot for Pietro and Bruno.
