Historical Künstlerhaus
Residing in the historical Künstlerhaus, the Salzburger Kunstverein stands as one of Austria’s oldest and most distinguished associations dedicated to contemporary art. The association which has been active for nearly 180 years, plays a pivotal role in the city’s artistic landscape by providing a dynamic platform for contemporary art, connecting the local community to international art scenes, and promoting public engagement with art and its critical discussions.

And I am telling you all of this because the Salzburger Kunstverein has a very busy week ahead of them with four different and super interesting events! The SYSTEM OF SUPPORT Exhibition is opening on 15.12 at 20:00. It showcases works from the association’s members and sets the tone for three more events.

Pop-Up Christmas Market
The Pop-Up Christmas market is the perfect opportunity to buy a unique present. The members of the Salzburg Art Association offer the full range of their work: paintings, graphics, prints, drawings, art jewelry, wooden objects, wall calendars, postcards, illustrated poems, art books, art billets, silk scarves, jewelry and accessories made from vintage silk ties, crocheted items, printed T-shirts, upcycling art objects, and much more.

Art Auction
The art auction is a rare opportunity to acquire pieces of young artists, as well as to own a part of history with select editions from the archive. All of the proceeds of the art auction will be donated to charity! If you have not visited them yet, this is your chance to!
