Ratio Coffee

published on 04.09.2024

Many of you had written to us to go try Ratio Coffee, and as your wish is our command, I reached out to Brent and asked if he would like to sit down with me for a little chat and of course some coffee …

… so a few days ago I was sitting there having a super friendly chat with this Australian guy and I couldn't figure out how had I never been here before.

Now, let me tell you this was the first time I actually reached out myself to meet a new place, so I was feeling a little nervous, and when Brent brought me my cappuccino, I immediately took a sip without even looking at it, or like the great influencer I am (not) not even taking a picture.
Now, you must be thinking this is how most people drink their coffee but I will tell you why that is bad - ratio coffee is known for having great coffee and beautiful cappuccino art. I am lucky Brent didn't take it personally, and I redeemed myself when I couldn't help but comment on how good the coffee was after the very first sip.

cafe and water

Everything in ratio coffee is carefully picked, from the self-roasted beans they serve to the natural wine on the shelves. Brent takes his coffee quality extremely seriously, he visits and tastes the coffee himself and builds a relationship with the farmers he sources from, in order to bring the very best coffee to Salzburg.

And if like me, you need something sweet for your coffee, you can pick up a few Tim Tams at the bar as a nod to his Australian roots and I strongly suggest you try a piece of their cake. Just trust me on this one…

So this is my tip for you: Go to Ratio Coffee, and get some of the beautifully made cappuccinos, but don't be fooled by its beauty, this coffee tastes even better than it looks!
