Maestro by EDEN

Recently, we were invited by Bettina to try out the new tapas menu at Maestro Salzburg, located right across from the Festspielhaus. It's a great spot that's quickly becoming a local favorite.

Here you find everything except for breakfast, from coffee and cakes to a lunch menu with student offers and, of course, the star of the menu: the tapas menu in the evening.

The menu is quite versatile, providing options that cater to all tastes, including a strong selection of vegan dishes. At Maestro, they make a conscious effort to reduce animal products wherever they can, which is a big plus for dining out with friends who have different dietary preferences.

The dishes we tried were thoughtful and well-prepared. The pimentos reminded me of a long walk through Spain I once adventured on, and the homemade butter was notably good. It's clear that the kitchen puts a lot of care into their cooking, aiming to create enjoyable meals for their guests.

Maestro also boasts a beautiful decor and a cozy ambiance, making it a nice choice for a date night or a casual evening with friends. The environment is super welcoming, matching perfectly the quality of the food.

We’re looking forward to visiting Maestro Salzburg again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice night out!
